Palin says Obama 'palling around' with terrorists

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Saturday accused Democrat Barack Obama of "palling around with terrorists" because of his association with a former 1960s radical, stepping up the campaign's effort to portray Obama as unacceptable to American voters.
Palin's reference was to Bill Ayers, one of the founders of the group the Weather Underground. Its members took credit for bombings, including nonfatal explosions at the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, during the tumultuous Vietnam War era four decades ago. Obama, who was a child when the group was active, served on a charity board with Ayers several years ago and has denounced his radical views and activities.Palin told a group of donors at a private airport, "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country." She also said, "This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America."

PALIN CHANNELS SEAN HANNITY
For months on both his radio show and his TV shows, Hannity has been trying to discredit Obama by connecting him with former Weatherman Bill Ayers. This doesn't seem to have had any lasting effect in the polls but that won't stop Winking Sarah Palin. This may be an effort to influence voters who are just now starting to pay attention but I think the GOP's base has heard this all before.

Stanley Kurtz FINALLY got access to the Chicago-Annenburg files that had been "locked up" by the Obama camp in the Illinois State Library. His exhaustive research showed that Bill Ayres was NOT just a casual acquaintance. They attended many meetings together and Obama raised money to fund one of Ayres' "Educational Funds" - that essentially schools young people in his radical beliefs!
He also has ties to other Muslim Radical and his campaign has received money from Hamas and Hezbollah.
I wish the main stream media would stop "drinking the Lool-Aid and look into this left-woing Marxist, Saul Alinsky's befiefs,

That was in the NY Times in 2001, not "recently" by any stretch. It was part of his effort to hype his memoirs.
There is no link between crimes that Ayers is accused of commting when Obama was 6 years old and 10 thousand miles away. Obama and Ayers worked did charity work for Walter Annenberg - Annenberg was a friend of Reagan and there were Chicago Republicans that worked with Ayers on the same project - more here
