MAYBE OBAMA CAN REALLY DIMINISH THE POLARIZATION

I have my doubts because of the talk radio gasbags, the Fundies and the fact the most of the GOP left in Congress aren't moderates, but Ron Brownstein1 thinks Obama can win over VOTERS who aren't rabid wingers by some fairly painless steps:
1) Nominate/appoint a non-crazy GOP like Hagel to some important position
2) Pass some bills that have bi-partisan support, like SCHIP
