MY SOLUTION TO THE PALIN PUZZLE
Kevin Drum and Steve Benen are still puzzled by the selection of the half-wit Sarah Palin as the VP candidate. Yes, she is clearly unqualified for the office but that's irrelevant to the GOP because it really is the party of Hannity and Limbaugh. Neither one of the latter is qualifed to speak about almost any issue yet they represent the GOP's base, as does Palin. As Fats Limbaugh once put it, "credentials are elitist."

The Constitution of the US only has two qualification for the President and Vice President. Be native born, and at least 35 years old. That's it.
So at least by our laws she is qualified. But that speaks nothing of her political ideas which I find atrocious.
