Stephen Hayes in the Weekly Wingnut writes that Obama has some explaining to do ABOUT THE DELAY THE PROSECUTOR ASKED FOR. Huge Ego Hewitt wrongly asserts that "The president-elect appears to be hiding the facts about contacts between his staff and advisors and Blagojevich, which leads to the conclusion that there is something to hide here." Truthteller at No Quarter is another wingnut with a comprehension problem:
According to the article I cite, Fitzgerald confirmed his office asked Obama not to release the materials his attorney may or may not have compiled. This leads me to ask why an internal investigation of Obama’s office would interfere with Fitzgerald’s probe. Are members of Obama’s transition staff already under investigation?
It's the RELEASE that Fitz wanted delayed, not the investigation itself.
