I CAN'T TELL...

I can't tell if the news media are channeling Sean Hannity or vice versa. Hannity has been trying compare Obama's denial of any wrongdoing in the Blagojevich scandal with Clinton's denial of sexual relations with Lewinsky. Bob Somerby found that a mainstream reporter did the same damn thing. On Meet the Press, this exchange occurred between David Gregory and CNBC's Erin Burnett:

MS. BURNETT: Right. What, what defines the word inappropriate?

MR. GREGORY: Right.

MS. BURNETT: What does that mean? I mean, you chose that word. Was it a loaded term or not? I mean, “I did not have sex with that women.”

MR. GREGORY: Yeah.
