SOME GOOD NEWS ABOUT BOB GRANT

I missed this story but Cory Dietz didn't: Bob Grant was given a lifetime achievement by trade magazine Radio and Records and then it was rescinded becaue he's a racist, right-wing pig. The NY Daily News also reported on this:

R&R, which announced the award a few weeks ago by saying it was "proud to salute Bob Grant," issued the following statement in taking it back: "Upon further review and consideration of Bob Grant's complete body of work, Radio & Records has withdrawn its decision. ... R&R is sensitive to the diversity of our community and does not want the presentation of an award to Mr. Grant to imply our endorsement of past comments by him that contradict our values and the respect we have for all members of our community."
