MAYBE OWNERSHIP DIVERSITY IS A GOOD IDEA

The Center for American Progress issued a report on talk radio and concluded that diversification of ownership would help rectify the political imbalance. I didn't think much of this argument at the time but Tucson may be a test case. The 2 major wingnut stations, KNST and KQTH, are part of chains and the only station that has a mixed format, KJLL, is a local operation.
