Conservatives say that incendiary speech by Limbaugh, Beck, Levin or Hannity shouldn't be taken too seriously because they are just entertainers who are exercising their 1st Amendment right. On the other hand Dave Letterman, a real comedian, deserves to be fired for a couple of tasteless remarks.
One of these claims must be false.
