SO, WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH TEXAS?
Media Matters debunks a winger op-ed in the WSJ and mentions something I forgot about, the Texas 1999 Advanced Directives Act. This bill was signed by Pres. Bush and allows a hospital to cut off care if a review committee feels the situation is futile. Now, Texas is a conservative state and 55% voted for McCain, so a natural question is why haven't the conservatives in Texas repealed this act?
