DEMOGRAPHICALLY?

I think the Big Dog is wrong about this, from MTP 9/27/09:
MR. GREGORY: Your wife famously talked about the vast right wing conspiracy targeting you. As you look at this opposition on the right to President Obama, is it still there?

PRES. CLINTON: Oh, you bet. Sure it is. It's not as strong as it was, because America's changed demographically, but it's as virulent as it was.

I think the real difference is that the liberals have decided to push back and Clinton should know that because the 1st major liberal group, MoveON, started in 1998. Josh Marshall started Talking Points Memo in 2000. Atrios started blogging in April 2002, Daily Kos in May and Political Animal, part of Washington Monthly, began in December 2002. Perhaps the most influential liberal think tank, The Center for American Progress, which includes Think Progress, was founded in 2003. In May 2004, David Brock's seminal book on right-wing propaganda, The Republican Noise Machine, was published and Media Matters began. Also in July 2004, Fox News Hounds began tracking the imbecilities of FAUX News.

These are some of the major liberal outlets and there are many more that aren't as influential but they also help pushing back against right-wing lies.
