Mark Levin is almost certainly the pettiest of the major radio gasbags. He uses personal, demeaning jokes to minimize anyone he disagrees with and seems to be very jealous of other gasbags. I've noted before that he has attacked Michael Savage on numerous occasions and recently he attacked Glenn Beck. These attacks seem to be caused by professional jealousy because both Savage and Beck have larger radio audiences. Yesterday, he brought up Andrew Sullivan's pot bust, in part because Sullivan and Chris Matthews are friends, in part because Sullivan is a conservative who turned against the Iraq War.
He also tried to get to the bottom of another trivial event, the ALG/NBC "scandal." and told his listeners that he spent over 50 minutes trying to contact anyone at NBC. He finally did manage to talk to Michael Calderone, the Politico reporter who apparently broke the story, but we didn't learn anything new.
Levin also provided a little more evidence that he thinks Tel Aviv is the capitol of America when he made the preposterous claim that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was now the "leader of the Free World."
