Just to see if the discrimination settlement with Accubanc led to its failure, I searched LexisNexis for information. In the Fall of 1999, Accubanc was purchased by National City Mortgage, a subsidiary of Cleveland's National City Corp.1 As of October 26, 2009, National City was still in business despite having some losses from the housing collapse.2
