American conservatives seem to have a weakness for imported wingers from Britain, like Christopher Hitchens, Andrew Sullivan, Mark Steyn, Niles Gardiner. The first two aren't movement conservatives, so they occasionally lapse into reasonableness. The latter two are hopeless parrots trying to convince people of a failed ideology.
