A VERY MISLEADING HEADLINE

I'm sure the radio gasbags will make a huge deal out of this London Times headline:
Climate change data dumped
November 29, 2009
Jonathan Leake, Environment Editor
From The Sunday Times

Due to the current wingnut hysteria, many people will think that the data was recently dumped to hide the fact that there really is no global warming. That would be wrong but the Times doesn't let us know about this until the 9th paragraph:
Jones was not in charge of the CRU when the data were thrown away in the 1980s, a time when climate change was seen as a less pressing issue.

What is do difficult for you to understand? They say that they have created a formula using variables and data collected for over a century. Their predictions say there will be global warming and the governments of the world should spend trillions of dollars to change the personal behavior of the world.
But now, they can't replicate this same forecast. What to do? How often in this day and age of backup systems, on site and off site does data get lost? How often does this happen with data that has thousands if not tens of thousands of man hours invested in it? NEVER!
I have even found inconsistencies of data using at Jim Hansen's Columbia University and NASA. Get it through your head, green is the new red and this is a war for controlling behavior.

That's not what the article said. It's common to throw out the raw data after it has been processed into data files.

This is simply paranoia.
