Ever since she disparaged people who didn't agree with her as not being "real Americans," I've kept my eye out for information that contradicts her claim and I found that her hometown is an outlier in American society, both in size and in economic importance.
Her state is also an outlier on religiousness, according to a Pew study. It's 45th among the states for people who say "religion is very important in their lives," and 42nd for people who say "they believe in God with absolute certainty."
