Some folks in the conservative base are taking megadoses of paranoia pills. I noted before how one thought he might be denied medical care because of his politics and that type of thought seems to be more widespread than I imagined at the time.

In the past couple of days, I've heard other callers express the same sort of fear about the government, in this case about the decision to put student loans in the public sector. They seem to think that this will be used by the Federal government to control college and university curriculums or to punish those who are conservative by denying them loans.
