The wingers* have been trying to fool the rubes by falsely claiming that using reconciliation in the Senate is identical to the "nuclear option" that the GOP threatened back in 2005. They have apparently calculated that their audience is to ignorant to know the difference between following the Senate's rules (reconciliation in 2010) and trying to change the Senate's rules (removing the filibuster in 2005).
