KGUN 9
Part of the controversy over the program stems from text in the books for the course. One line that keeps coming up is "Kill the gringo, " which is found in a book called " Occupied America, a history of Chicanos. " Augustin Romero who is the director of the program told KGUN9 that the quote is taken out of context. He said, " (Rodolfo) Acuna is talking about a moment in time. The book itself is not advocating for hatred toward any one group. What Acuna is doing is telling the history of a people and using one example."

I WONDER WHAT NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS THINK ABOUT THIS BOOK TITLE
This seems to be more ethnic studies stupidity from Dr. Augustine Romero.
