This is another 40 days and 40 nights effort by the Fundies to obtain God's help to get the GOP back in control of Congress, though they don't say that explicitly.  This effort is part of Renewing America Leadership broader effort to establish a Fundie state and look who's the honorary chairman: Newt ("4 wives") Gingrich.
