ANOTHER BECK FAIL

This Digby post reminded me that the Beckster accused Walter Lippmann of believing and promoting in eugenics.  I did a little Googling and found that Beck is once again smearing the dead.

First, the book "In the name of eugenics: genetics and the uses of human heredity" by Daniel J. Kevles has this passage about Lippmann:

Seoond, in a book review of Steven Selden's Inheriting Shame,(History of Education Quarterly; Vol. 40, No. 1 (Spring, 2000), pp. 104-106 ) John L. Rury wrote this:

Finally, in a review of "War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race," Robert Moore provides this juicy tidbit:
Eugenics was not without opponents and Black reports the marvellous and characteristic observation of Walter Lippmann on IQ tests as ‘a new chance for quackery in a field where quacks breed like rabbits …’
