DAMN INGRATES

Despite trashing Iraq and directly causing the deaths of thousands of civilians, Kevin McCarthy in the National Review called the Iraqis "ingrates" in 2008 and several other wingnut pundits have made the same accusation.

A couple of days ago, Sean Hannity repeated this insane charge:

I say why isn’t Iraq paying us back with oil, and paying every American family and their soldiers that lost loved ones or have injured soldiers — and why didn’t they pay for their own liberation?
