And Justice Scalia, conservative icon that he is, was no partisan patsy, participants said, tossing off remarks that surprised freshman tea-partiers as well as recently shellacked Democrats.
“He said, ‘States rights? Fuhgeddaboudit!’” said freshman Rep. Joe Walsh (R., Ill.), a self-described “tea-party guy” who came to Washington “to storm the gates.”
Mr. Walsh mentioned a couple of other surprises, including Justice Scalia’s view that the line-item veto, desired by some conservatives, is unconstitutional.

THE TENTHERS ARE GOING TO GET HAMMERED
I just can't see them calling Justice Scalia a statist so they'll have to admit that they are wrong.
