CONSERVATIVES SAY "DON'T CONFUSE ME WITH THE FACTS"

That sentence is something I recall Rep. Sandman (R) saying before the House Judiciary Committee voted to impeach Richard M. Nixon and it still applies to conservatives almost 40 years later.

First, PPP has released a new poll of Wisconsin voters that allows a "redo" of the governor's race.  The main result:
...if voters in the state could do it over today they'd support defeated Democratic nominee Tom Barrett over Scott Walker by a a 52-45 margin.
This won't matter to the radio & TV gasbags who will insist that Gov. Walker is doing the will of the people.

Second, last week Goldman Sachs came out with a report on the effects of the proposed GOP budget cuts and found that they would reduce GDP by up to 2 full percentage points. This week Moody's Analytics came out with an analysis that found the GOP cuts would reduce GDP 0.5 percentage points this year and result in the loss of 700,000 jobs.  The GOP has denied that either report has ANY validity.
