DECODING PALIN

Digby posted one segment of her interview with CBN and it's been bugging me so I thought I'd try to clarify what Palin was trying to say.
It's a difficult situation. This is that 3:00 a.m. White House phone call, and it seems for many of us trying to get that information from our leader in the White House, it seems that that call went right to the answering machine.

The 3 AM call metaphor used here seems to mean that Pres. Obama delayed responding to the revolt in Egypt yet there is no evidence that this was the case. On the other hand, Palin seems to assert that the administration is withholding  information about Egypt.  If the administration delayed a response, how did it get this information?
And nobody yet has explained to the American public what they know, and surely they know more than the rest of us know, who it is who will be taking the place of Mubarak.
Here Palin is asserting that despite delaying a response to Egypt, the administration does know a great deal about the situation in Egypt, as if rapidly gathering information is not a response to the situation.  Palin also seems to ignore that some of our information may be highly classified and unsuitable to reveal at this time.

The intelligent man in the street Arab/Moslem trusts no one in majority power in the American government, ranging from neolib to neocon, and these realize any dissenters on either wing are marginalized about as much as Mubarek had marginalized the MB.
