YES, VIOLENCE IS PART OF CONSERVATIVE IDEOLOGY
At a town meeting of Paul Broun, a VERY conservative GOP House member, the first question was "Who is going to shoot Obama?" Broun did not denounce the question until the next day. This is a little more evidence of the extremism that movement conservatism encourages.

Very bad--and the drone bombing probably leads to a similar visceral reaction in Afghanistan.
As does the possibility Obama approves of Petraeus' sentiments on such as depicted by the current Englehardt piece on tomdispatch.
I see the NYT has an article about how we're withdrawing from a formerly crucial Afghan province.
