WHO OUR STATE GOP LEGISLATORS LOVE

It's sure not the lower and middle classes because they voted to approve a flat tax which shifts the burden to those making less than $100K.   This has not gone unnoticed in the local media.

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Arizona lawmakers are thinking of simplifying your state income tax and you may be simply steamed at the extra cash that might disappear from your wallet.
Here's how the flat tax could work out for you:

If your adjusted gross income is less than ten thousand dollars the average state income tax is a dollar. With the flat tax it would be about $200---a jump of almost 20,000 percent.

Someone making between forty and fifty thousand would see an average bill jump $175---a 29 percent hike.

Above a hundred thousand income the flat tax probably saves you money. Average savings: $321 dollars---12.6 percent.

The tax savings get better the more you make: savings of 30, 42, 45 percent. Someone who makes more than five million, saves almost a quarter million.
