But the demographic trend is not his friend.I think the demographic trend IS in Rush's favor because of the Baby Boomers. The U.S. Census Bureau has estimates of the population distribution from 2000 to 2009 and I made a graph of the data for the years 2000 (blue line) and 2009 (red line).
The hump that we see in 2000 in the 30-39 group has moved to the 40-49 group in 2009.
