Brewer says next move on jobless benefits unknown

PHOENIX - Arizona legislators adjourned today without taking action one way or another on the extension of unemployment benefits, even though the expiration deadline was today.
Pearce and other Republican leaders say they want to have the special session consider long-term steps to spur the economy, such as new tax breaks for business.

ALWAYS WITH THE TAX CUTS
Right now, Arizona's state taxes are at their lowest point in over 30 years but that's not enough for the GOP fanatics in the state senate. They want to get MORE cuts for businesses in return for voting for an unemployment benefit extension THAT WOULD BE ENTIRELY PAID FOR BY THE FEDS.
