REMEMBER THE 363 TONS OF CASH?

That's the weight of the CASH we sent to Iraq, mostly in $100 bills.  This money belonged to the Iraqis, we wasted it and now the Iraqis want some answers.

Iraq has asked the United Nations to help find $17 billion of oil money it believes was stolen by America.

Its parliament says the cash was shipped over from the US to aid reconstruction after Saddam Hussein was ousted in 2003.

But it went missing the following year during the post-invasion chaos.

In a letter to the UN office in Baghdad, the parliament’s integrity committee said: “All indications are that US ­institutions committed ­financial corruption by stealing the money of the Iraqi people, which was ­allocated to develop Iraq.”

The committee called the disappearance a “financial crime” but said UN ­resolutions prevented Iraq making a claim against the US.
