Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) said "at the heart of liberalism really is a hatred for God and a belief that government should replace God." and Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA) said "there are folks that want to destroy us from inside, the progressives and the socialists, who want to make this nation a nation that's no longer under you, under God, but a nation that's ruled by man."

The point isn't so much in reference to God as much as it is to the blatant hypocrisy of these sub-pagan worshippers and servants of the decadent anti-Christian Police State that has become,long since, the American government.
Both of course are war whores who approved of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars which the sub-pagan American-Zionist state terrorists wage in service to Israel and the continued domination of runaway Wall Street Finaance Capital corruption.
I also think of some of the great works of art that drew inspiration from Christianity and how they make these whiners seem pathetic.
