YEAH, WESTEN WAS CORRECT

A McClatchy-Marist poll done last week found that economic populism is still strong in America:
By 69-28, voters support raising taxes on people with annual incomes of more than $250,000.

By 62-32 they support eliminating subsidies to oil and gas companies.
I was a little disappointed that more people aren't willing to dismantle the Imperial Forces:
By 50-46, they support cutting defense spending.

Some good populist points by Ellen Brown here. Seems even Ron Paul
is moving a little "economic populist," unless I interpret her reference incorrectly.

Mass protests are going to be necessary to translate poll results into Congressional action, though.
