Billy Cunningham just can't seem to admit what's obvious: the GOP base is chockfull of religious bigots.  At the so-called Values Voter Summit, Pastor Robert Jeffresscalled Mormonism "a cult" and has not backed down:

"I have not changed my position," Jeffress told the crowd of about 2,000 attending the early service at First Baptist Church of Dallas.
"Absolutely, Mormonism is a false religion," he told Reuters after the service. "It was invented 1800 years after the establishment of Christianity."

In Billy's World, the mainstream media is to blame for reporting this clear cut instance of bigotry. He did call say this guy was a "derelict pastor" but his main argument is that someone else is to blame for Fundie intolerance.
