The biggest FAIL, at least from her supporters' point of view, was Sarah Palin's refusal to run for the GOP presidential nomination. Donald Trump, perhaps the quintessence of conservative bullshit, took over the top sport. Michele "The Eyes" Bachmann had some time at the top of the polls after an Iowa straw poll but is now an also-ran. Then Rick Perry took the lead until people realized he had "issues" with the English language. Herman Cain then bubbled to the surface but has since done some great work sabotaging his own campaign. With Cain's decline, Newt Gingrich gets a second look from the rubes but has enough baggage to open up a clothing store.
Isn't this cast of clowns enough to convince the majority of Americans that the GOP isn't to be taken seriously?
