THE TOP 0.1% OF POLITICAL DONORS

NPR has a story on how much influence the wealthiest Americans have on politics based upon a study by the Sunlight Foundation called The One Percent of the One Percent.

In 2010, there were 26,783 people in this elite category and they accounted for "24.3% of the total from individuals to politicians, parties, PACs, and independent expenditure groups."

Back in January, I posted a list of Arizonans who attended the Koch brothers fascist conclave and here are the names (not necessarily the people) that made both lists:
Karl Eller $65,950.00
Randy Kendrick $112,100.00
Eric Crown $86,000.00
Joseph Moeller $14,500.00
Peter Smith $12,500.00
Steve Twist $15,300.00
A Tucson local who did not attend the Koch conclave also made the top 0.1% list:
Jim Click $157,400.00
