THEY ARE AFRAID OF THE FUNDIES

Not liberals, conservatives are afraid and that's why they are running away from Fundie extremism.  Oddly, Fats Limbaugh rose to the defense of the GOP by denouncing the contraception question but he slit his own wrists by reminding his listeners about Robert Bork:
RUSH: Was this over the contraception business?

CALLER: Yeah, it was the contraception --

RUSH: We've got that. Let me find it here. Since you brought it up, I've got it here in the sound bite roster.

CALLER: They wouldn't show it. They didn't show the part where the audience rebelled.

RUSH: Yeah, I didn't see the debate. I read about it. My first reaction when I read this was, "What in the hell?" You know, this is what they tried to sink Robert Bork with at his confirmation hearings, the Griswold case in Connecticut about contraception.
Bork thought the states could prohibit the use of contraception even between married couples and just last October, Fetus Boy Santorum said that contraception was a threat to society, so he would support the right of states to ban contraceptives.
