I would say that there isn't all that much enthusiasm for the GOP candidates. The total votes in the 2008 GOP primary was 241,039 and despite all the huffing & puffing from the talk radio gasbags, the total for 2012 is only 243,098. This is similar to the small difference in Iowa between 2008 and 2012.
