Doc Thompson, having lost his show on WLW, Cincinnati, is also dropped back in Richmond. This is what he looks like:
Singer Daniel Powter may need to cut a fresh version of “You Had A Bad Day” – Doc Thompson had a bad week.
As the Cincinnati Enquirer’s John Kiesewetter observes, “he lost both his radio jobs in eight days.” First it was the 9am-noon gig on Clear Channel's “Big One” talk WLW (700), with Doc being replaced by Scott Sloan (January 30 TRI Newsletter). Then Kiesewetter caught this Friday evening Facebook posting by newlywed Thompson – “I am no longer hosting my Richmond show [on Clear Channel’s talk WRVA/1140]. In the world of radio broadcasting…sometimes these things happen.” Remember that when Clear Channel made its moves in Cincinnati, triggered by the re-hiring of Eddie Fingers, it was forced to notify Doc of his exit while he was on his honeymoon. (And after his girlfriend had moved from Richmond to take a TV gig in Dayton, and they bought a house in Ohio.)

ONE FEWER RIGHTWING ASSHOLE ON TALK RADIO
Doc Thompson has subbed on the radio for Hannity and other freaks so I was glad to learn that he's been canned from his home station. From Radio-Info:

a must podcast. Is Yves right?
Thompson was one of the "self-regulating free market" guys, who blamed the victims of liars loans
more than the financial parasites and did his best to alienate anti-elite rightists from anti-elite leftists.
Its really very interesting and good to watch.
