It's too late for some of his former advertisers, including Carbonite:
"Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show," Carbonite CEO David Friend said on his company's Facebook page. "We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse."When I heard this today on the radio, I wondered if he had ever apologized before. I couldn't think of anything but BuzzFeed Politics found 6 other incidents:
1988: Amy Carter, "the most unattractive presidential daughter in the history of the country"This should put his fellow gasbags, including Hannity, Mark "Foamer" Levin and Roger Hedgscock, in a bind because they defended him.
1992: Chelsea Clinton, the "White House dog"
1994: Sherrol Miller, "transsexual lesbian"
2003: Donovan McNabb, "The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well"
2006: Michael J. Fox, "Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting"
2008: Barack Obama, "Curious George"
