Fats Limbaugh announced today that he now has a Twitter account and as of this post, he has over 106,000 followers. I went to a site that lists the most popular Twitter accounts to put this number in perspective and I found that the most popular account is Lady Gaga's which has 20,826,973 followers. Stephen Colbert is 123rd on the list and has 3,211,349 followers. Al Gore's account has 2,365,797 followers and Rachel Maddow's has 2,061,360.
The first conservative account on the list is John McCain's, which is listed as 366nd with 1,740,606 followers. The next one is Newt Gingrich's at #471 with 1,447,539 followers. FOX New is #496 with 1,404,619 followers and that's all in the first 500 most popular accounts.
Sen. Joe "Israel" Lieberman was on Hannity's show and he wants the U.S. to join Israel in an attack on Iran. BTW, Hannity's Twitter account only has 285,127 followers.
