Early Sunday AM, I heard a story on On The Media about how organized science handles retractions of scientific papers almost as if they did not occur. I presume that scientists who specialize in the specific topic will know that the retracted finding is BS but that still leaves a majority of scientists in the field out of the loop, let alone journalists and the general public.
