THIS IS THE REALITY OF THE MIDDLE EAST
Many Arab Muslims are bedrock fundamentalists and they will riot over movies they consider to be heretical or blasphemous. The conclusion to be drawn here is not the one that Mark "Foamer" Levin or the Weekly Standard neo-cons suggest (attack Iran, bomb them into dust, etc.) but to realize that we have to play a "long game," just as we sometimes tried to do with the former USSR. In this regard, Afghanistan and Iraq are the parallels to the Korean and Vietnam Wars, so it's time to change direction.

Steve, you have to be a member of the particular religion in order to be heretical. "Blasphemous" is more like it.
However we should not play a long game. We should cut off aid to Israel (and Egypt, and Pakistan etc,) dismantle the bases of Empire, come home and address our own problems, retaining just enough military to protect our borders.
