WERE DOES GROVER NORQUIST GET HIS POWER?

The WaPo observes that despite recent noises made by GOP politicians, Norquist's influence over the GOP has not diminished one whit but that seems a bit odd because until recently, I can barely recall any GOP politician telling Norquist to stuff his pledge.  On Sunday, Grover threatened that there would be version 2.0 of the Tea Party if taxes on the upper 2% were allowed to rise and that also seems a bit much because the Baggers are more of a joke now than a serious political force.
