A LITTLE BIT OF CONSERVATIVE REASONABLENESS

McClatchy has a report on long-term unemployment and I was encouraged to read this part:
Hassett, who’s now a researcher at the free-market research center the American Enterprise Institute,...Hassett urged Minnesota Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who ran the hearing, to be creative and experiment with both Democratic and Republican ideas to test what might work to bring down long-term joblessness.

This is a step up from the usual "more tax cuts for the rich."

I wouldn't go that far but for a guy who used to be a community organizer, he doesn't seem to grasp any really useful economics.
