Sirota might be a solid writer but he avoids the pivotal fact that the instrument which sets the Islamophobia mechanism in place in is Zionist ownership of Mideast policy and media. And that includes an array of "liberal" Zionists like Barbara Boxer, as recent politicking demonstrates.
If an American Jew wants to critique Euro-American cultural biases and at the same time call on Israel to dismantle all vestiges of rabbinical law and allow the complete right of return of all Palestinians after which a plebiscite is called to decide how the nation is to be governed, I'll concede he's being consistent.
Otherwise, he's just the typical Jewish supremacist getting by with what an Afrikaaner cum citizen of the USA, for example, never could have.
