For those of you who don't know him, he's a talk radio host who thinks the Old Testament was too easy on people. Anyway, today he's found another grave threat to Western Civilization: school breakfasts.
Here are Prager's delusions about them:
First, the program was created to solve a problem that does not exist.Prager offers not one bit of empirical evidence to support any of these claims.
Second, it both enables and encourages irresponsible, uninterested, and incompetent parenting.
Third, even where decent parents are involved, free breakfasts at school weaken the parent-child bond.
And fourth, the free breakfast profoundly weakens young people’s character.
