An 18-year-old man died after being shot early Monday in midtown.

The man, who died at a hospital just before noon, was identified as Ricky Campbell, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Police were called to the 5700 block of East 28th Street, near South Craycroft Road, around 12:30 a.m. after a 911 caller reported a shooting.

Officers stopped two vehicles leaving the area and found one man with gunshot wounds in each car, Widmer said. Paramedics took the men to the hospital.

A 25-year-old man who was also shot was in stable condition, Widmer said.

The Police Department's gang unit is conducting the investigation, he said. Detectives have questioned occupants in both vehicles.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

Okay, but here's more evidence on the other side. Check Obama's latest assertions about progress in Afghan. You trust this government's confiscatory schemes?
