LIKE THE FUNDIES, THE BAGGERS ARE FACING POLITICAL REALITY
Many of them are disillusioned that the dystopia they voted for hasn't been enacted and their hope that the GOP will shut down the government over Obamacare will most likely be another disappointment. This lessens the chance that the GOP will take control of the Senate in 2014.

The original Tea Party, please note, was a rather Perotista-populist, economic nationalist, antiwar collection. Then it got coopted by the Koch Brother crowd.
The original Tea Party would never have trusted Rubio in the first place.
