Right after being graduated from HS, Michele Bachmann spent the summer of 1974 in Israel on a kibbutz! -
“I have been a long time supporter of Israel. The first time I went to Israel was the day I graduated from high school. I spent a summer working on Kibbutz Be’eri near Beer Sheva in 1974.”I guess she doesn't mind socialism as long as its Israeli:
The kibbutz (Hebrew word for “communal settlement”) is a unique rural community; a society dedicated to mutual aid and social justice; a socioeconomic system based on the principle of joint ownership of property, equality and cooperation of production, consumption and education; the fulfillment of the idea “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs”; a home for those who have chosen it.

It's illegal for a Christian to attempt to convert a Jew in Israel.
Heretics like Bachmann don't care-their wrenching of Revelation from historical context trumps
reality.

there's a ref to Bachmann's ilk here but the unlucky part is "Congress is still in Israel’s pocket and the President is still spineless. The tail still wags the dog."
