THIS IS NOT AT ALL SURPRISING

A month or two ago I think there was an article in POLITICO that argued that liberal talk radio hosts were too political and I thought that was bullshit because Rush Limbaugh makes almost everything political.  Conor Friedersdorf points out that Limbaugh uses conservative ideology to judge empirical truth but he omits the crucial admission by Limbaugh:
My point is that the Republican RINOs, Republicans-In-Name-Only, and the Tea Party have an ideological basis for not running to Governor Christie's defense.  They disagree with him on policy.  They felt that he betrayed his own party and cause with that embrace of Obama. They feel he sabotaged his own party in their quest to win the White House. The Tea Party, they've got substantive reason.
UPDATE: Limbaugh has a lot in common with this fellow -
There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.
