I didn't know that it should be given the predominant role:
In what British military historian Andrew Roberts calls the central statistic of WWII, "It was the Russians who provided the oceans of blood necessary to defeat Germany, and it cannot be reiterated enough that out of every five Germans killed in combat--that is, on the battlefield rather than in aerial bombing or through other means--four died on the Eastern Front." Fellow British historian Max Hastings roughly concurs: "The Eastern Front, where 90 percent of all Germans killed in combat met their fate, overwhelmingly dominated the struggle against Hitler."

Barry: Iraq not as bad as Crimea because the US didn't make Iraq the 51st state.

Obama is a pitiful worse-than-mediocrity. The war he once "opposed" whose criminal lying perpetrators he helped let off (for which every member of the "left" who forgave him is also bankrupt)and which cost and continues to cost hundreds of thousands of unnecessarily loss of life and limbs....he calls less bad than Crimea returning to Russia with a handful of casualties.
Gives the right a good argument against electing an affirmative action president-- if it wasn't generally busy proclaiming Obama too much the indecisive dove.
